Savoring Realism With Katie Koenig

Gilberti Fine Art is  pleased to present Katie Koenig, a local artist from the Pittsburgh suburbs. Katie shares her nostalgic interpretation of the places, food and objects that impacted her most growing up in Western Pennsylvania. She has that keen ability to make your mouth water as you view her large acrylic paintings on canvas of familiar subjects we can all relate to; an open Heinz ketchup bottle, an ice cold I.C. Light Beer or a giant martini, complete with glistening green olives.

Katie is a full-time artist who sells her work at art festivals throughout the country. This past June, Katie was honored with the 2017 Festival Award at the Three Rivers’ Arts Festival; her first year participating in this well known local event.
